Applied AI for logistics

I help organizations transform their supply chain, logistics, procurement and operations through applied artificial intelligence, automation and analytics.

  • Less time on manual tasks.
  • Better information to decide.
  • More control over your operation.

Applied AI Specialist for Supply Chain and Operations

  1. Procurement

    Fewer hours comparing quotes.

AI reads each supplier's offer, flags missing information and builds the comparison table, with traceable calculations that are easy to review and audit.

  2. Inventory

    Exceptions stand out.

Stockouts, count discrepancies and slow-moving products, ranked by priority with the reason behind each alert.

  3. Logistics

    Every shipment, followed up.

AI sorts emails, drafts replies and keeps track of what is pending, so no order is left unattended.

  4. AI agents

One assistant connected to the whole operation.

Agents query your company's systems, cross-check the data and deliver an answer backed by its sources. The decision still belongs to a person.

How I can help your team

  • Assessment and prioritization

I analyze your department's processes to identify repetitive tasks, waiting times and opportunities for AI automation. That way you can decide where to start to reduce manual work, time and costs.

  • Custom training / Workshops

Workshops for managers and teams, starting from scratch and using examples from your own processes, to learn to use AI in your daily work.

  • Pilot and implementation

I build custom software, test it as a pilot and implement it in your company or department, with security and privacy measures defined with your team.

How AI helps

AI reads each document, compares it with your company's list of requirements and flags what is missing or about to expire. A person reviews and approves.

What benefit to measure

  • Review time per supplier file
  • Files returned for missing documents

AI Quote Assistant

Peruvian Mining Contractor · Since May 2026

Supplier qualification and RFQ automation

The problem
Qualifying suppliers, managing requests for quotation, reviewing responses and consolidating information for decisions involves many administrative tasks that AI can streamline.
What I did
An AI assistant that automates supplier qualification and the RFQ cycle: it understands needs written in plain language, identifies suppliers, manages requests by email, interprets responses, asks for clarifications and builds comparison tables in the company's official formats.
The result
Pilot developed and delivered: it centralizes qualification and quoting, reduces repetitive tasks and produces structured information to evaluate offers. AI supports the work; the team decides every purchase.

Freelance Logistics & Supply Chain AI Specialist

Peruvian Mining Contractor · mining and construction

  • As a freelancer, I lead AI adoption in the company's Logistics department in Peru, working remotely with the Lima team.
  • I developed an AI system that automates key Logistics and Procurement processes, from supplier qualification to managing requests for quotation (RFQ). It is a pilot that has been implemented and already used.
  • The system sends and receives qualification documents, manages communication with suppliers, processes quotes with AI and builds comparison tables to support evaluation and decision-making.
  • Technical validation: more than 2,000 tests run and passed, checking the system's functionality, stability and reliability.
  • Automation of requests for quotation (RFQ) and supplier qualification processes. Totals matched the company's real table in 12 out of 12 checks.

AI Implementation Consultant

Independent advisory for managers

  • I have advised more than 5 managers in Peru and Canada on how to implement AI in their companies.
  • For the manager of a mining construction company, I built the demo of Report Now, a mobile app for daily site reports: a 14-step report, approval flow, PDF export, role-based access and offline sync, with 434 automated tests.

What I do

  • Process automation

Repeatable workflows with Python and n8n: from email and spreadsheets to a process that runs on its own and leaves a trail.

  • Procurement

RFQ cycle, offer comparison, supplier qualification and draft purchase orders, always with human approval.

  • Visibility and analytics

Inventory exceptions, days of cover, reorder point and safety stock, explained with clear rules.

  • AI agents

Agents that read documents, coordinate tasks and leave evidence for every figure, with mandatory human review.

  • Training and adoption

Masterclasses and workshops for managers and teams, with examples taken from their own processes.

Artificial intelligence doesn't replace experience. It multiplies it.

Security, privacy and control

Your security questions, answered clearly.

  • A person approvesAI prepares drafts and recommendations. Someone on your team makes the final decision.
  • Figures with their sourceEvery data point references the document it came from, so it can be verified.
  • Calculations in plain viewTraceable calculations that are easy to review and audit.
  • Your company's permissionsAI works only with the systems, integrations and permissions your company decides to grant it.
  • Who can access my information?

    How it works today:

Only the people and teams your company authorizes. In a pilot, the solution can run on a single company computer with one person in charge, and the rest of the team receives the reports.

    Defined with your IT team

If the solution moves to a shared server: user accounts, passwords and roles for each person.

  • Where do my documents go?

    How it works today:

They are stored on your company's computers. An external AI service is used to read them; it receives the content it needs to read, not your suppliers' contact details.

    Defined with your IT team

Which services are involved, what information they receive and under what conditions.

  • Can the AI send emails or change data?

    How it works today:

Only what is configured. A new installation sends nothing. Sending emails is enabled with explicit permissions and only to authorized addresses. In systems like SAP it records nothing on its own: it leaves drafts for a person to approve.

    Defined with your IT team

Which email accounts are used, who can be contacted and which actions are enabled.

  • How are credentials protected?

    How it works today:

Keys are stored outside the code, in a file that only the system account can read. They are not shown on screen, they don't appear in the logs and they are not included in the delivered version.

    Defined with your IT team

Which accounts and permissions the system uses, so it doesn't depend on anyone's personal password.

  • How do we review an error?

    How it works today:

The system keeps a log of what it did and why, and keeps the original documents. Every figure can be traced back to its source, so an error can be reviewed step by step.

    Defined with your IT team

Who reviews, how an error is reported and how it is fixed.

  • What happens if the system fails?

    How it works today:

If a data point is missing or a reply is unclear, the case stops and is flagged for review instead of moving forward with incomplete information. The manual process remains available.

    Defined with your IT team

Support, updates and backups, depending on the project.
